Bradfield Southend, often just known as Southend, is a residential area about one mile from Bradfield village in the south of the Berkshire Downs. Housing is a mixture of mainly 20th century owner occupier and council housing.

The church, St. Peter's, is a wooden dual purpose building built in 1965 and used for both services and church activites. Since the closure of St. Andrew's Church in nearby Bradfield St. Peter's is now the parish church.

Bradfield Southend is about six miles north-east of Thatcham.
